My firstborn Isabella was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was the best big sister to her younger sister (who is now an only child). She was such an animal lover. She was always such a sweet girl to everyone no matter who they were. I always admired her for being so kind to everyone.
On graduation night while celebrating with friends she was introduced to fentanyl. She told me she basically was addicted from the first time she used it. She had graduated high school a year early so she was freshly 17. We tried to get her help, but due to the fact that she was a minor we weren’t successful at finding a place that would accept her. Her addiction lasted for a year and a half. On her 18th birthday, we dropped her off at rehab for the first time. It was the most heartbreaking thing to do for a mother to have to drop her child off on her birthday at rehab. She went to rehab 2 more times and then 2 days after leaving rehab she was found unresponsive in her bed at a sober living facility.
Isabella fought hard to get clean. I am so very proud of her. She touched so many lives in her short time here on earth. Always on my mind and in my heart ❤️❤️
