The Invisible Risk: Why Prevention Starts with Our Awareness

As a Contributor at APALD (Association of People against Lethal Drugs), I believe that prevention begins with awareness and the willingness to recognize a risk before it becomes an irreversible consequence.
My own contribution comes from a simple belief: prevention must begin while there is still time to change something.
Sometimes the greatest risk is the one we cannot see.
When we do not know what a substance actually contains, we cannot fully know what we are putting at risk. What appears to be a single decision can carry real, irreversible consequences.
That is why awareness matters.
We need to question the unknown, stay informed, and understand that prevention is not about fear. It is about recognizing risk before it becomes harm.
This is the message behind my words:
ONE UNKNOWN.
ONE RISK.
ONE LIFE.
DON’T TAKE THE RISK.
“What is invisible, yet quietly changes what is visible, is my motto.”
