The Association of People Against Lethal Drugs (APALD) is proud to announce the appointment of Raymond Wade Jr. as Vice President, effective immediately. Wade, a dedicated advocate in the battle against fentanyl and other lethal drugs, will help lead the organization’s mission to save lives through education, advocacy, and innovative resources.

Raymond Wade Jr.’s journey with APALD began when he was commissioned to redesign the organization’s website, transforming it into what is poised to become a leading online resource for combating lethal drugs. His exceptional work led to an invitation to join the Board of Directors, where he further contributed by consulting on parliamentary procedures and technological upgrades to enhance APALD’s operations. Recognizing his leadership and commitment, the organization’s president, Diane Urban, invited Wade to serve as Vice President.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to take on the role of Vice President at APALD,” said Wade. “The fight against fentanyl and other lethal drugs is personal for so many, and I am committed to building on APALD’s impactful work to protect our communities.”

Wade’s appointment comes at a critical time as APALD expands its efforts to address the growing crisis of lethal drug overdoses. His expertise in technology and organizational strategy will bolster the organization’s ability to deliver vital resources and advocate for stronger drug prevention policies.

“Raymond’s vision and dedication have already transformed APALD’s outreach,” said Diane Urban, President of APALD. “His leadership as Vice President will drive our mission forward, saving lives and raising awareness about the dangers of lethal drugs.”
