J was the light in our life and our first and only grandson.
He was kind hearted, caring, funny, and would give his last dollar to anyone who asked. He was a huge help to his Papaw, who is disabled, and to me.
J loved to be the center of attention and always looked his best. He thrived off of making everyone laugh, and therefore was the life of the party. So it began, in jr high, it was alcohol, pot, and an occasional pill. After high school he was introduced to heroin by a "friend who loved him like a brother."
He was able to eventually pull himself out of the heroin hole, but was always looking for that "forget about life struggles" feel. He walked the path of sober, then high, sober, then high, trying to be the person that he wanted to be. He wanted marriage, children, nice cars, etc., but 4th of July weekend in 2021 he obtained the wrong pill and died alone in his apartment, now forever 26.
Fentanyl stole our grandson's life, and the lives of his mom, his baby sister, his aunt and uncle, and us.
We all love and miss him with every breath we take.
Until we meet again son
