On July 19th of 2020, one month and nineteen days after her 17th birthday, Gabriel was given marijuana laced with fentanyl and carifentanil and died. She was at someone's house with 3 adults. We were unaware. She was supposed to be with a girl from church and instead, she was with the girls Uncle. He was on house arrest for his part in death of another child. Due to COVID the prison let him out and placed him on house arrest. And about a month after he got out my daughter died at his house. She didn't receive an investigation, and her death certificate was stamped accidental overdose and her case was closed before the toxicology came back. My daughter wouldn't take medications, not even Tylenol. She believed that marijuana was natural and given by our creator to use. She was unknowingly poisoned.

Gabriel was my 3rd of 4 children. She was my miracle baby. She was very talented, bubbly, talkative, loving, compassionate, intelligent, caring, artistic, free spirited, hilarious, humble, adventurous, and the realest person I've ever met. She wasn't afraid to speak the truth. She always stood up for anyone with a disability, or anyone being bullied. She was a believer in our heavenly creator and she wasn't ashamed to let others know. She loved nature and animals, hiking and kayaking. She was the best at fishing. She was the one that we all went to when we needed a laugh, hug, or advise. She's so VERY much missed, and loved beyond love. She gave us life and someone stole it from us.
