Michael Bowler is my dad, my best friend, my hero. Hard working & self taught programmer CIO of the company he worked for. He’s a Papa to 8 grandkids, Father of 3 daughters and 3 son in laws (Jack Bowling II passed June 26, 2021 when he accidentally drowned in Lake Tahoe. Kevin Kearse passed away April 1, 2014 to an accidental overdose). He loved unconditionally, always had the perfect words to say. He’d give you the shirt off his back, he was happy to help anyone and everyone. He loved music, always playing air guitar or drums. He loved nascar and NHRA, his dad used to drive a top alcohol dragster.
On August 27, 2023, I lost my best friend, the only one that understood me for who I am, and the only person to truly get me. He was poisoned by cocaine laced with both fentanyl and Xylazine. He was poisoned and murdered. I’m so unbelievably broken inside. I miss him more than anything.
My name is Michelle Denlinger, spouse Patrick, and youngest daughter of Michael. I have 2 sisters, Shannon Bowler and Monica Bowling. I have 5 kids (blended family) Bri, Bella, Ava, Austin and Eli. Shannon has 2 kids named Peyton and Liam, Monica’s son is named Jack III. We all have had a hard 2 years with the passing of Jack and then the passing of our dad. I knew what fentanyl was but I had no idea what Xylazine was until I googled it, the coroner said if it wasn’t for Xylazine he would have been alive today. This is another poison we need to bring awareness too, as well. I have never been so broken before in my life, losing a parent is something I would never wish on anyone. My dad was the type of person that would light up the room when he walked in, he would always try to make you smile if you were feeling down, he always had the best jokes ever. I know I will never be the same after losing my best friend, my hero, my daddy. This needs to stop we are losing too many good people to this horrible drug.
