On April 7, 2023 Casey asked her boyfriend for a Xanax and he gave her a fentanyl pill. She passed away in my garage before 5 am according to the coroner. She had a little setup in the garage because she smoked cigarettes but I didn’t allow that in the house because I have stage 4 cancer. I seen Casey at 5 that morning but I thought she was asleep so I went back to bed because I had chemotherapy the day before. I got woken up by detectives banging on my door at 8.26 am. They told me that Casey had passed away. According to the detectives her boyfriend tried to wake her but he couldn’t so he called his mom to come get her. They put my daughter’s deceased body in her car and they said they were taking her to the hospital, I don’t believe that because why not come upstairs and get me, why not call 911. They pulled into a gas station where we believe he panicked and asked a policeman for help. She was already gone. He gave her a fentanyl test and it was positive. The police called an ambulance to come get her and take her to the hospital. I was not even allowed to go ID her body because I threatened to kill the boyfriend. Him and his mom went to the hospital to try and get her phone because there was evidence in there that she asked for a Xanax. Her boyfriend was never charged. And neither the boyfriend or mom was charged for moving a deceased person. They were getting ready to arrest the dealer that gave it to the boyfriend but he overdosed and died himself. Casey was my caregiver and had been since she was a senior in high school. She was 31 when she passed away
